Cotton Shibori
A beautiful Woven piece of art with roots in Japan but created in the looms of Bengal. Loom Shibori is an adaptation popularised by Catherine Ellis in the early 1990s. The patterns are woven into the fabric while on the loom by inserting weft yarn in specific positions to reveal a Mokume or woodgrain pattern.
